How MCP Electrical Services Pty Ltd collects, uses and looks after your personal information. Last updated 9 October 2026.
MCP Electrical Services Pty Ltd (ABN 21 692 896 227, NSW Licence 491647C) is an electrical contractor based in Wallsend, NSW. "We", "us" and "our" in this policy mean MCP Electrical. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Mostly from you: when you fill in a form on this website, call, text or email us, use a quote, photo or invoice link we send you, or talk to us on site. Sometimes from someone else with your permission, such as a car dealership or a builder who refers you to us, or a property manager arranging work.
We don't sell your personal information. We only send marketing messages if you've asked to hear from us, and you can opt out at any time (reply STOP to a text or tell us).
If a dealership referred you (in person or through its QR code), we let that dealership know how your enquiry is progressing — for example "quote sent" or "installed". We never share your quote, prices or payment details with them. We may give the referring partner a referral credit if you go ahead; it doesn't change your price (see our terms of use).
Only those who help us do the job or run the business, and only what they need:
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). We choose reputable providers and only share what's needed for them to provide their service to us.
Your information is stored in secure, access-controlled systems. Staff only see what they need for their job, links we text or email you are unique and private, and we keep records only as long as we need them for the job, warranty and our legal obligations.
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Call us on 0468 067 453 or email info@mcpelec.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first using the details above and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
